Welcome to Lyndhurst School’s website, which I
hope will give you an idea about how much fun our pupils have in their
learning.
Lyndhurst School is part of the Pocklington School Foundation and is where children aged 5 – 11 are taught.
During your child’s time at Lyndhurst we hope he or she will grow to become a confident, independent learner with a real love for learning and discovery.
Time in the classroom is, however, just one aspect of this development. We also put a great emphasis on making the most of the exciting activities that are on offer both at lunchtime and after school.
Many of our boys and girls travel to and from school every day, but for a group of children school is also home.
Lyndhurst benefits from good facilities for boarding where children can feel safe and comfortable – enriching evening and weekend activity programmes make boarding a very exciting option.
Choosing your child’s school is a daunting task and, as a parent, I understand the challenge you face.
