P500 Dinner at Houghton Hall - limited places, book now!
Friday 2 March 2012, 7.00pm, hosted by Lord and Lady Manton and Darrell Buttery

The fourth in our series of Pocklington 500 dinners will take place at Houghton Hall, Sancton, the home of Lord and Lady Manton, who will be our hosts for the evening. Built circa 1760, probably by Thomas Atkinson, one of the leading Yorkshire architects in the reign of George III, the property is a Grade 1 listed building set in the midst of picturesque farmland which forms part of the estate. The evening will follow a similar format to the pervious dinners. Drinks will be served as guests arrive between 7.00 pm and 7.30 pm. There will then be a short talk about the history and architecture of the house, followed by a four-course dinner with wine.
Further details about the evening along with a booking form can be downloaded below. As this is a unique opportunity to dine in such a magnificent house, which is not normally open to the public, and places are limited, early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
For all enquiries please contact the main school office.
