Pocklington School - Trips & Expeditions
Over
the last few years the many school trips on offer have taken in
virtually every continent on the globe. Foreign exchanges are arranged
each year to France, Germany and Spain. There have been trips to
Washington and Moscow in recent years and the annual Classics trip goes
to Ancient Greek and Roman sites in Italy and Greece. Subject field
trips and day trips closer to complement the curriculum. Social
trips include Lower School House Camp, a Second Form trip to France and
a watersports trips. There is also an annual skiing trip. Sports
and music tours add to the diversity of activities on offer. In a recent
development, Schools Worldwide Expeditions have taken pupils to Namibia
to do community work.
