Pocklington School ISI Inspection 2007
Pocklington School was last inspected from the
24th to 27th September 2007 and received a very positive report for all
aspects of the school. The opening paragraph of the report read;
"A well-balanced and broad educational experience is provided across a wide range of subjects and activities. The education therefore is consistent with the school’s declared aims and philosophy, offering the pupils a varied, challenging and all-round education appropriate to their needs. The friendly, supportive community builds the pupils’ confidence and encourages them to discover their talents. The well-structured pastoral system ensures that staff know their pupils well and that staff support is available when needed. The school has created a safe environment which promotes good behaviour and high morale."
