Winter Weather - Lent Term 2010
Pocklington and Lyndhurst Schools are operating as normal.
Should there be any major notifications or changes to the above, we will use this page of the website to update you.
It is up to parents to decide whether it is safe to travel, but we would like to know if your child is unable to come to school so please contact reception, (Pocklington - 01759 321200, Lyndhurst - 01759 321228).
If a pupil is going to be late, please remind them to sign in at reception on arrival.
If you wish to pick up your child earlier than normal we will of course be flexible during this period of adverse weather, but please let us know.
We do not envisage any interruption to the external examination programme which begins on Monday 11 January 2010.
Please assume that any bus services operated by the Foundation will run as normal unless you are contacted by us, morning or evening. Bus drivers and school receptionists know how to contact you if there is a problem and will make reasonable efforts to pass a message to you. Please ensure that we have your up-to-date contact numbers, particularly for your mobile phone. If your child is at school we will exercise our usual care until you are able to collect him or her.
