Term Dates

Ordinarily, boarders are asked to return to school the day before the start of term to give them ample time to settle in. Our boarding houses open in the afternoon of that day.  In the Michaelmas Term, all new students are welcomed to a student induction day. This gives new students the opportunity to meet teachers and their peers and settle into school and their boarding house.  Returning students do not need to attend the induction day. 

Exeats

To give some students the flexibility to return home or visit relatives we have four EXEAT weekends throughout the year; two in the Michaelmas Term, one in the Lent term and one in the Summer Term.  The boarding community remains open for these weekends and boarders can choose to stay if they wish. There is an additional charge for these extra weekend stays.
