Shape the future legacy campaign

Leave a legacy to give young people a flying start

Our Shape the Future Legacy Campaign seeks to give more young people the opportunity to access a life changing education at Pocklington School. At the same time, this will ensure the School remains an open and diverse community with equality of opportunity to all - an aim both John Dolman and our most famous student, William Wilberforce, would surely heartily endorse.

Currently 3% of Pocklington School students receive means-tested bursary support. Our medium to long term ambition is to increase this to 10% - a considerable way towards helping families unable to afford the full fees.

For this, we need your help.

The 1514 Club

You can support the Shape the Future Legacy Campaign by letting us know you have included Pocklington School in your Will.  If you are happy to do this, we will invite you to become a member of our legacy society, the 1514 Club. Members of the 1514 Club are invited to attend special annual events, including the President’s Lunch and the Commemoration of Benefactors service.

The Founder Members of the 1514 Club recognise that attending Pocklington School can be transformative for young people and we are very grateful for their support.  They have already committed to help give the next generation the opportunity to shape their own successful futures.

If you would like to join them and find out more about supporting the Shape the Future Legacy Campaign, please see the booklet and other information below.  If you would like copies of any of the documents posting to you, or would like to discuss your interest in leaving a legacy, please contact the Development Office on 01759 322626 or email development@pocklingtonschool.com.
