Scholarships and Bursaries
Scholarships and Fee Assistance
We have a number of scholarships available every year. The scholarships are financial awards granted to a student on the basis of the student's academic or musical excellence.
Fee assistance is a financial award granted on the basis of the student's financial needs, to cover up to 100% of tuition fees. This fee assistance is confidential and is strictly means tested. Further details can be found below.

Fee Assistance, to give further support to that provided by an award, may be available on a means tested basis. The school seeks widely to promote the awards. Families for whom a scholarship or exhibition would not provide sufficient funds for admission are encouraged to contact Admissions Secretary Fiona Lambert on 01759 321200.
Sixth Form Fee Assistance
A number of Sixth Form Bursaries are available to external or internal candidates and may be awarded in the form of a discount of up to 100% of the tuition fees payable depending on the financial, compassionate or other pertinent circumstances of applicants.
Applications will be considered from any young person who passes our academic entrance tests to the Sixth Form and who is deemed likely to benefit from the opportunities presented by Pocklington School. Significant academic prowess is not, however, the only criterion, and applicants are encouraged to demonstrate artistic, sporting or musical ability to enhance the quality of their applications.
Entrance tests for these applicants will take place in late February/early March.
Potential applicants for Sixth Form Bursaries are encouraged to contact the Admissions Secretary Fiona Lambert on 01759 321200, from whom further details are available.
