Shape the Future Campaign

When John Dolman founded Pocklington School in 1514, he was driven by his vision to shape the future of young people by providing them with an education. Subsequent benefactors have played a vital role in growing and sustaining the School ever since, creating a culture of philanthropy we are incredibly proud of.

Over the years we’ve welcomed many bursary and grant-assisted students into our supportive and caring community. In return, these students have brought great benefits to the School, in terms of social diversity, scholarship, sporting and cultural excellence, and a commitment to make the best of the opportunities Pocklington has offered.

Continued benefaction, specifically to provide fee assistance, is essential if Pocklington is to remain accessible to all. There are many young people who hold promise, but who have limited financial means.  Our Shape the Future Legacy and Bursary Campaigns seeks to help more young people, giving them the opportunity to access a life changing education at Pocklington School.
